Messages

From today, messages got a bunch of cool upgrades 🥳

But first, a few reminders and explanations:
- ✉️ Only logged-in users who have confirmed their email can send messages – which means more security and less spam.
- 🗑️ Message threads are automatically deleted after 30 days, so make sure to save important conversations locally.
- 📧 Email notifications are only sent when a new thread is started – unless the user turned notifications off 😜
- ✍️ Once a message is sent, it can’t be edited anymore, but you can delete it.
- 🕒 pssst… if you see the wrong time in your messages, it means your time zone is set incorrectly – you can fix it in your profile settings.
- 📩 If you have a new message you haven’t read yet, a blinking red envelope ✉️✨ will appear in the top bar next to your profile.

What’s new:
- 😎 Writing is now more fun – I’ve added some emoji to choose from, but if you paste others, they’ll show up too 🙃

- 🔗 Links are now clickable!
Links to Puzzlopedia look prettier 🥰 – for example, a puzzle link will show its title instead of the full URL.
Links outside Puzzlopedia stay in the “uglier” full address version.
❗Always stay cautious – you never know what someone might send you 🤔

- 👀 I’ve also added read/unread statuses – now you’ll see when your recipient has opened your message.
And if they still haven’t… you can send them a 👉 nudge 😂
That’s a little feature that sends them an email letting them know you’re waiting for them to check the message.

If you have any feedback or suggestions, feel free to send me a message 😝😂
